Les Philippines possèdent la plus grande diversité spécifique du genre Nepenthes (Gronemeyer et al, 2014) en regroupant à ce jour une cinquantaine d’espèce. Quatre nouvelles ont été ajouté récemment et publiées dans un article paru le 6 Juin 2014.

 

• Nepenthes pantaronensis (Gieray, Gronem., Wistuba, Marwinski, Micheler, Coritico, V.B.

Amoroso, spec. nov)

Cette plante semble apparentée à Nepenthes pulchra et Nepenthes petiolata.

 

 

•  Nepenthes cornuta  (Marwinski, Coritico, Wistuba, Micheler, Gronem., Gieray, V.B.Amoroso, spec. nov)

Une espèce de plus à ajouter au complexe Nepenthes alata.

 

• Nepenthes talaandig  (Gronem., Coritico, Wistuba, Micheler, Marwinski, Gieray, V.B.Amoroso,
  spec. nov.)

Très proche de Nepenthes cornuta, elle appartient aussi au complexe Nepenthes alata.

 

• Nepenthes amabilis (Wistuba, Gronem., Micheler, Marwinski, Gieray, Coritico, V.B.Amoroso,

spec. nov.)

Elle semble très proche de Nepenthes pantaronensis.
